Film shorts Box 21 and That Time of Year have been selected for the London Lift Off Film Festival. The Lift-Off Global Network encompasses worldwide live screening events, distribution initiatives, a seasonal awards ceremony, and an ever-growing and active network of indie film creators.

You can view both Box 21 and That Time of Year ONLINE as part of the online festival, giving you the chance to vote for audience favorites. The London Lift Off Film Festival began on Monday, December 6th, and ends January 3rd, giving you some time to view the shorts before the festival concludes.

Box 21

Directed by Tom White, Box 21 follows the story of a grieving woman who visits one of her late mother’s acquaintances, arriving with a mysterious red box. Also directed by Tom White, That Time of Year stars the late Joel Nathan King and Mia Arachikavitz. The short tells the story of a recent widower who returns to tour the college campus where he met his late wife, reconciling with his past.

That Time of Year recently won Best Production Design at the Golden Earth Film Awards where the film was also nominated for Best Short, Best Director, and Best Lead Actor (Joel Nathan King) at the same event.
